Our vineyards grow in an area which has always been devoted to viticulture: natural, physical and chemical conditions, together with the favorable climate allow the production of wines of which we can only be proud.

Terrain

We are located in the Veneto region, in the province of Treviso, in the beautiful scenery at the foot of the Montello hill. The typical red coloration of the soils is clear evidence of their ancient origin.

Cantina Barchessa Loredan’s vineyards enjoy the micro-climatic conditions which make Montello and the nearby areas the ideal place for cultivation.

These are soils with a good capacity of water reserve, availability of nutritive elements and a considerable mineral supply and, not having undergone violent interventions of remodeling, still present their original characteristics.

Moreover, climatic conditions, with not too rigid winters and hot and not very rainy summers, favor the quality of grapes. The microclimate that characterizes the hills and plains around the winery is perfect for the cultivation of vines.

Our 32 hectares of vineyards are located at the foot of Montello in the municipality of Volpago del Montello, specifically in the hamlets of Venegazzù and Selva.

Palazzon

The “Palazzon” vineyard is in Selva del Montello. It extends southward from the slopes of Montello.

Implanted in the 20th century, “Palazzon” is the oldest vineyard of Cantina Barchessa Loredan. It owes its name to the name given to the villa that stood next to the Barchessa.
