Born of Count Marco Loredan's desire to make a fine red wine for his private cellar, Grinera is a harmonious and persistent Merlot IGT Colli Trevigiani. The name derives from Gran Riserva Nera, and recalls the period when the production of Barchessa Loredan was destined exclusively for the Loredan family. Many things have changed since then, but our cellar continues to produce small quantities of wine with full respect for the land, the people and the wine culture of Montello. Merlot grapes are grown in the "Palazzon" vineyard (Selva del Montello) and in "Casa Rossa" (Venegazzù).
